Last updated: May 19, 2026
AniWall respects the intellectual property rights of artists, studios, photographers, creators, publishers, and other rights holders. Wallpapers on AniWall may be uploaded by users, curated from submissions, or linked with source information when available. All wallpapers remain the property of their respective owners.
1. Personal Wallpaper Use
AniWall is intended for discovering and downloading wallpapers for personal device customization. Unless a rights holder or source expressly states otherwise, content on AniWall is not offered for commercial use, redistribution, resale, merchandise, advertising, or inclusion in other products.
2. Upload Responsibility
Users who upload content are responsible for ensuring they have the rights, permissions, or lawful basis to submit it. Do not upload artwork, screenshots, renders, photographs, fan art, edits, or other images if doing so would infringe someone else's rights.
3. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe a wallpaper on AniWall infringes your copyright, please use the "Report this wallpaper" button on the wallpaper page. You may also contact us at copyright@aniwall.org.
Please include enough information for us to review the claim:
- Your full name and contact email.
- The AniWall URL of the wallpaper you are reporting.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
- A URL or other reference showing your original work, if available.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, agent, or law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature, which may be your typed full legal name.
4. What Happens After a Report
We review copyright reports and may remove, hide, disable access to, or restrict content while we investigate. We may contact the uploader, request more information, preserve records, or take action against accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content.
5. Counter Notices
If your content was removed because of a copyright report and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may contact us with a counter notice. Include your name, contact email, the removed content URL or identifying information, a statement explaining why you believe the removal was mistaken, and a statement that you consent to the applicable legal process for the dispute.
6. Repeat Infringers
AniWall may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly upload infringing content or abuse the reporting process.
7. Source and Credit
Credit or source links are provided for attribution and discovery when available. Credit does not necessarily mean the upload is authorized, endorsed, licensed, or approved by the original rights holder. Rights holders may request removal even where credit is shown.
8. Trademark and Publicity Rights
Some wallpapers may include characters, logos, names, brands, or people protected by trademark, publicity, or related rights. AniWall does not grant any license to use those rights outside personal wallpaper use.
9. Contact
For copyright matters, use the wallpaper report form where possible, or email copyright@aniwall.org with the subject line "Copyright Report".
